I do recall beating on the drum that you should take it to prevent yourself from dying from the thing, or getting seriously ill from it. And fuck the idea that you should take it to prevent others from getting it, because that is the wrong reason to take it.

So what you are effectively saying is that if you get COVID virus in the body, you are less likely to die from COVID if you have no vaccines, and are more likely to die from COVID if you have the vaccine already.

Based on the evidence we have, it is a semi-effective prophylactic that does not prevent infection or transmission, but it may impact the severity of disease, while also having severe side effects in some people.
