Almost every Canadian has a home gym in the basement. So countries who run policies that run counter your talking points are shitholes...interesting judgment calls you make here...

Of course, rednecks are always happy as long as disaster does not strike home. When it eventually happens they cry everyone a river and are then told "told ya". We hear it again and again, "I don't need to follow covid precautions I can take care of it myself"... Until they get sick then they beg for hospital beds and emergency rooms. "I don't need health insurance, I can take care of my own health"...until they get severely ill and then freeload on us remaining tax payers by having to be treated in emergency rooms they themselves can't afford from their empty pockets. "we fight against tyrannical federal propaganda"... Until they are shot dead in every single standoff against the federal government. Idiots are idiots and will remain idiots. The rest of society has to protect the stupid from harming themselves and everyone around them. If you and your friends want to disobey all orders then why not purchase an island and isolate yourselves from all those horrible beings that you seem to despise so much. At least you won't infect us and spread diseases to the rest.

Ryan Gordon who has been bitching for a long while about New York and New Jersey is leaving New York for Puerto Rico...along the whole Danaher Death Squad ! Funny but wtf is so wrong with De Blasio ? They are about to reopen the schools (which most of the world has already decided to keep open even during covid lockdowns), but some news say it will only be for pupils who need special assistance, and those will get a weekly covid test ?

Canada is trying its best it seems to turn the country into a locked down shit hole, pretty sure that won´t affect such an internet athlete like him, but how is Nine Ender gym going ?
Funny stuff is medias are happy to depict states with less restrictions as suffering terribly under covid pressure, but it might well be the people living under less restrictions are most satisfied.
Still hearing of a bunch of covid cases around here, although less than a few weeks back, but nothing bad. Everything still open, the perimetral confinements of some neighborhoods , with everything still open within those, still sees no enforcement.
If we could get rid of the damn masks, at least for compulsory use especially outdoor, and travel around as it used to be, life would be pretty much normal.
Glad to notice today after several months exhibiting an empty hall so the people wouldn´t hang out there, the indoor skate/trampoline park my kids go to has set up again a whole bunch of sofas there. More sports competitions are also popping up, although mostly unofficially and under closed doors - still sucks huge for pro fighters, as it´s still dead for them - and they don´t receive any help package linked to their job afaik.
legal nightlife still dead here as well, no idea about underground nightlife.

Not sure what some of u are on about with social darwinism and people who don´t self isolate are going to die, and so justifiably. Truth is an obscene amount of those people are either not gonna get covid or discover it wasn´t worth altering their lifestyle.
But sure, dying one day they will, and so after wasting less of their life than the recluse in fear did.

And what is your point, anyway? That as long as the risk of one thing is lower than the risk of the other thing, that we can just keep racking up and accumulating lower-risk propositions into our lives? Unnecessarily?

Even 6 months from now there will still be 100s of deaths by people not getting the vaccine and exiting the gene pool. The problem is that they are/will be infecting others who are not in denial.
