As if that is a curse, lol. At some point people have to ask themselves which the real shithole country is where elections take a month or longer or where a sizable number of the population cannot even afford to see a doctor. Or one that is still governed by a total retard and snake oil salesman which not only badly reflects on the head of state but also on half the nation that voted him into office. A nation that rather sees a sizable number of its population die rather than making the least of all efforts, to wear a mask. That is in most peoples' book the biggest shithole country.
Who needs panic when all rational thinking and sacrificing oneself goes over board and an entire empire comes down and goes into the shitter. Welcome to becoming a nation of just any hundred others. Only brainwashed people still believe America to be exceptional. Nothing in America is exceptional, at least not on the positive end of the spectrum. Oh wait, the strive to pioneer and innovate by a very select few still exists, most of those being immigrants or second gen immigrants. The rest are some old school white fucks who grasp onto power and do anything possible to escape the inescapable and the rest are uneducated, poor lemmings. That is the state of exceptionalism of the US. In summary, a bunch of highly emotional pussies and dumb fucks. A mask is too much to ask of degenerates.
Is it my idea or Europe takes things more seriously than the US does?
Another way to look at it is Europe shows once again it has a strong government intervationist culture which easily throws individual and private business freedoms in the trash.
It also has a huge percentage of the population on government payroll so the public outcry is limited.
Training bjj with a cop, which along other cops in our gym is an overall nice guy, but he's been stating his work schedule a few weeks now, and it appears he works 2 nights a week, and gets a full salary. This training session is in the morning btw, most of the other folks participating there have lost their job since the lockdown started
So police is outside fining people who try to work iand get some money in the private industry, while they themselves get full salary for 2 nights a week work ?
Many civil servants haven't been working at all lately, while getting their full salary, so police is not the worst culprit here.
My undestanding is morale is very low among policemen as the rules have been changing at a crazy rithm in Spain, and they haven't shown much zeal to enforce the regulations over the last couple of months, although now the declared enemy of Society appears to be nightlife and quite a few tickets are still given at night ( there s a curfew going on)

Governments on average, probably yes. But people are people. Some cultures display different preferences but in the end in each country you have a few highly intelligent people, some educated and rational people then a bunch in the middle who follow those who sell themselves, then a bunch of total degenerates who don't care at all, and then a minority of those with bad intentions or those just too stupid to see that their actions harm others. Those who still believe it is their damn right not to wear a mask fall on the extreme latter bucket. The new infections all across Europe is mostly because of people who think their own personal mask wearing preference trumps public safety and the health of all others. It's really as simple as that. And that applies to all countries, whether North America or Europe.
Go on with your life. Take C, take D3, stay healthy. Eat right. Exercise. Live.
What the hell is the point in living if you have to stay locked in your room? Total stupidity.
Ban kids from school? 100 kids died in the whole country since this began. Tens of millions go to school.
