Yes, almost irrelevant. Unless it is your husband, wife or one of your children. Then things change completely.
I lost a friend in september. She tested negative for covid in august and 4 weeks later I was on her funeral. She had no health problems at all.She was working as a dentist and probably got infected from a client.
For people who lose someone, 4% or 95% doesn't matter. Dead is dead.
First it s closer than 1% and most likely below that number, second this argument doesn t hold water, dead is dead and there are plenty of people dying from other ailments and governments and medias don't try to butcher society way of life for it.
Plenty of people caught it over here they are alright, not sure what happened to ur dentist friend but if her passing was due to covid her case was way an outsider, not something one base such wide reaching public policies .Average age of death from covid appear to be 80+, huge majority of deaths with preexisting health conditions, likely lots of those deaths would have occured shortly or at the same time even without covid. Tragic but many people die way younger than they could have, for one reason or another, I ve kown many over the years. Many die also because of covid restrictions.

Out of 100 people vaccinated only 5 will get the virus, the rest is protected. There is never 100% efficiency, we would have been happy with 70%, so 90+ is a huge deal.
Nah, tests were done only to people who showed up in the hospitals at the beginning, so only severe cases, now it s around 1%, and lots of people don t want to get tested in Madrid at least, as there s no need for the overwhelming majority to do anything else than staying home and testing positive is an hassle.
