Hillary had hundreds of Top Secret, Secret and Confidential emails on her illegal, non-secure private server. Not only that, she emailed back and forth with Obama -- while in foreign countries -- using her private non-secure email account.

Now we know what was obvious all along. Clinton's email server was accessed by foreign powers. We don't know if they had to pay for the privilege or just took advantage of her disregard for the law. We also know Obama lied through his teeth about it. Of course Obama brazenly lying and the media ignoring it are hardly news.

Ahh, no. An investigation of presidential candidate nominee - a scenario fraught with political misconduct as we have seen- should be a number one prime candidate for an independent counsel.

And correct, nothing said, especially and including Horowitz, changes the fact that Hillary was exonerated by someone who lacked the authority to do so.

Well Horowitz is the last line of review and he agreed that according to the law, the prosecutors and department history it was not appropriate to charge Clinton.

The party is over, stop throwing a temper tantrum. It’s embarrassing. You were all gung ho for this report and spoke very highly of Horowitz, and I warned you, you may not like the findings, now you have to eat your peas.

Okay, perhaps someone who is familiar with the IG's report can set me straight on this:

One of the primary reasons for justifying Hillary's exoneration on her email crimes was that allegedly no harm was done because there was no evidence that any foreign entities had hacked it or accessed it by some means.

Now I hear reports that the IG alleges that there is evidence that the account was in fact accessed/hacked by foreign poweres.

If so, this gives the appearance that a Comey/McCabe investigation found no evidence- but an independent, professional investigation did and always would have.

Where am I going wrong here?

I dont know how you know that. An independent counsel may or may not be appointed but there is nothing in the law that makes Horowitz the last stop in any criminal review. Hundreds of thousands of emails/texts yet to come in that could incriminate anyone at anytime regardless of the fact that nothing was OR was not available to the Inspector General who is not a criminal investigator. Need I remind you again, as I did earlier today, that that bombshell texts from Page/Strzok about stopping Trump were unredacted just two weeks ago. Thousands and thousands of McCAbes emails are also scheduled for release too.
As I said before the report came out, there will be those who will argue that it is an end point but I do not see how it can be because it will take months/years more for everything to be released and unredacted. Are we supposed to say that that will not be looked at because Horowitz has completed this report. No.
In addition the House Intel Committee has its review scheduled so if you want to be the one to explain to them that Horowitz is the last one to review these matters, well then, good luck wit dat.

Oh and while we are on the topic, Obama is highly like to be incriminated in some way as well. I can say this with certainty because he already has. Page said in her texts that Obama wanted to be kept informed about the investigation. Thus confirming that he was further meddling in the investigation, in addition to his public meddling by saying that he didnt think that Crooked Hillary did anything wrong. And now we see emails via the IG that absolutely confirmed that Obama was receiving emails from her via her private email account. This is in direct contradiction to Obama's statement in a television interview wherein he said that he "first found out that Hillary was using a private email when he saw it reported on TV along with everyone else." Yeh, you have declared that all of this is over. Guess what. MORE TO COME.

That assessment is just one part of a much larger IG investigation that criticizes the former FBI director's role leading the Clinton investigation ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

According to the report, an FBI forensics agent told the IG’s office that he was “fairly confident that there wasn’t an intrusion,” and a letterhead memorandum, or LHM, summarizing the FBI’s findings said there was no “evidence confirming that Clinton’s email server systems were compromised by cyber means.”

Alright, I accept that but am still piecing it together. It may be that I heard roundabout that the House Intel Committee had uncovered it rather than the IG - see link- which would raise my same question but via a different source.
