COULTER: We Made Donald %#&@ Trump PRESIDENT — What Else Can We Do?

"...How many different ways can Americans express that they want a whole lot less immigration and absolutely no amnesties?

Congress has tried to sneak through amnesties three times in a little more than a decade. Every time, the American people somehow found out — despite the best efforts of the press — rose up in a rage and killed the proposed bills.

In 2006, President Bush got the brilliant idea to push amnesty on the country. His party was wiped out the very next time voters could get to the polls.

In nearly every poll on Bush’s handling of immigration...., a huge majority of the public disapproved.

We already tried amnesty once. The 1986 amnesty under Reagan was supposed to be a one-time fix. We’d forgive the estimated 1 million illegal aliens living here and, in exchange, draconian measures would be imposed on any employer ever caught hiring an illegal again — up to a $10,000 fine per illegal and jail time for repeat offenders.

We never got the employer sanctions.

There weren’t 1 million illegals — it was 4 million.

It wasn’t a one-time fix. In another real-world example of “incentives,” the first amnesty led to a never-ending stream of illegals across our border, confident of getting in on the next amnesty. Today, there are at least 40 million illegals living in the U.S. (Eleven million is nonsense — they’ve been claiming that since the 1980s. See Adios, America)

And now, once again, politicians are lobbying for the exact same policy that was a complete failure last time. When it comes to immigration, it’s always Groundhog Day!..."

America wasn't "stolen". It was conquered by a superior force.... a story as old as mankind itself. America isn't being "conquered"... it's being given away by traitorous politico scumbags.

Shame on you for not knowing the difference.

Shame on you for not understanding that illegal immigration is an existential threat to our country.

I see. Does this remind you of Ann Coulter?

I assume you're going to go back throughout history and also blame all modern countries that are in place now for stealing the land from whomever had it before them as well, right?

Blame, I never blame. I don't take credit for things I had no involvement in either. I'm not a fatboy who 'wins' because 'his team' does.

The USA was a big, largely empty (European diseases helped a lot there) treasure trove bonanza. It is now a bit of a mess of urban sprawl and turning into a landfill.

I guess I just don't get how given all the resources available, fresh start and all, the US is so mediocre. I was in Charlotte, NC recently and.. wow what a lot of very nicely packaged crap nobody needs.

No real point here but.. I must say I am disappointed with what Europeans did with the place.

Bozo boy doesn't get hit.

He presumes native americans were the first to inhabit the continent. Likely not.. likely the native americans "stole" it from whomever was here before.

Wait, you think the US is nothing but a mess of urban sprawl turning into a landfill? You think it's so mediocre?

Can you tell me what other parts of the world you have visited? You know, to compare the landfill to.

I've been to 42 countries not including airports as I counted last year. I've been to a fair amount of the US, a lot by car and train. A lot of my family are in the US, we were early movers starting about 1655 I believe. It is big, very pretty in places but what else would it be? It was big and pretty before we got there. A lot of things got big in the US simply because the place is big, up-scaling was required but that is different from greatness.

Over sold and under delivered is what I feel when I'm there.

I like the US generally, just I'm not a zombie fanboy.
