Could Elon Musk be fired from tesla ?

Not sure why this matters, it's not a publicly traded company, has nothing to do with Tesla, and since I don't trade Tesla (not worth the price point), this is really just "reality TV."

He owns the company, this is PR, he tells the CEO what to do no matter who it is. He's still the boss, the CEO works for him! I don't understand why this is an important story.

He's the boss and gets what he wants either way, it's just a PR move.

This is the guy we should study, and emulate.

look at his response to Adam Schiff. Love Schiff or hate him… is this response worthy of a guy who we should emulate and model after…ummmm I don’t think so. He’s a very smart, rich, lucky CHILD.

Schiff has never had a job other than on the public payroll, so he has never spent a day building anything or working in the private sector, where Musk has become the richest man in the history of the planet. That's not luck.

Name calling means nothing, everyone has an opinion, the fact that you have one means nothing. Name calling, your default, is childish. Make a case that gives your opinion value to others.

One guy produced an opinion with a clear argument. And then Musk responded with name calling. You read that tweet and this is your response?
 
What was the clear argument? All I see is an opinion, not an argument, from Schiff. Schiff cannot know Musk's motivation, it's only his personal interpretation (opinion). He doesn't know if it's hatred or bigotry behind it, Schiff's making subjective conclusions that are politically useful, not supplying evidence or facts to support. Opinion only.

And we should believe Schiff, who named-called and bashed a sitting President of the United States, making every claim and accusation possible, which all turned out to be hoaxes?

Where's the standard? You like what the guy said because you also are envious of Musk and his ability not to care about what people think, which is fine, just be self-aware and honest. "Musk responded with name-calling...(your words)" - - then you turn around and support the guy who named-called. That, my friend, is hypocritical.

To have integrity, if you call out one name-caller, because it's bad, you have to hold everyone to the same standard. You did not. Name-calling is ok when you like it, bad when you don't. Your opinion is tainted.
 
The issue is not Schiff. The issue is Musk. And if he’s your hero, your role model, then I’m sorry, I can’t help you.
Seriously. The guys a genius. And a f’n idiot at the same time. What CEO of a major publicly traded company responds to anyone with “ your brain is small.

I'm not looking for help, so trying to shame me by saying "he's my hero" won't work. Shaming and insulting are low value debating tactics.

I respect what Musk's done in business, so there are positives in there. I don't support his smoking pot, since it's a problem in modern days, with THC levels being artificially elevated to increase addiction, so we agree in some ways, disagree in others, which is normal and fine.

There are good things, and flaws, about every man of accomplishment. I don't have dedicated "role models," but rather I study successful men and learn from each what I can.

In answer to "what CEO of a major company says xyz,"- - previous "Richest Men in the World" (Carnegie, Henry Ford, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet) have all said equally hyperbolic things. And do you think Schiff cares what Musk says? He's a career politician, happy for the extra attention.

And why shouldn't the richest guy screw with people? It's probably a lot of fun watching people twist on your words. And why does it bother you so much? Relatively speaking, between Musk and Schiff, if I had to guess who's brain had more capacity, who would you pick, Schiff?

Musk is likely just stating a fact, so if Musk has a larger brain, Schiff's brain IS small to him. Truth is truth, no harm, no foul.

Absolutist standards are not strong arguments. You justify your unreasonable position by making an unreasonable standard that allows your opinion to fall on the “good side” the line you have drawn. Eventually your standard will bite you in the ass. It did musk.

schiff didn’t call Elon any names. He pointed out Elon’s inconsistency. Elon responded with the verbal equivalent of a poop emoji. and instead of arguing schiff’s Point you insulted his career. (Ad hominem attack).

If you are trying to say "he's my hero" to bother me in some way, then you are trying to use shame (name-calling), and insulting, which in the world of debate means you don't believe you have the facts on your side. You also talks about "unreasonable standards" without explaining what's unreasonable, so we are simply supposed to agree that you calling them unreasonable is correct. To be clear, truth is a reasonable standard.

If you can't bring in facts, just opinion, you don't have cred. Everyone has an opinion. Yours or mine do not matter unless we make a case that convinces others to change their thoughts. You made some random conclusion about facts. What bit Musk in the ass? He's even richer now than he was yesterday.

Facts or be futile. Your call.
