Thinking about the numbers:
By 2024 the Conservatives will have been in power 32 years and labour just 13 years of the last 45 years
And the numbers get even worse if Boris wins a second term which is likely given his majority.
Blair won 3 times because he never raised income tax levels. Then Gordon Brown raised the income taxes in 2009 and was quickly kicked out of office in 2010.
Labour never going to win if the plan is to raise income taxes.
