Conway Tells Chuck Todd "We Are Going To Have To Rethink Our Relationship With The Press"

Some of you are really something else.

The entire media slandered Trump 247. Openly lied, exaggerated and vilified him on daily basis.

Trump got 7 TIMES the negative coverage Hillary did. Studies were done on it.

And now you're feeling sorry for the press. Fuck the press. They're fucking whores.

Stating that the President of the United States should not be using the power of the Federal Government to unilaterally decide who gets to report and who does not, is not the same as feeling sorry for the press. It's not even in the same universe.

Everything seems to be falling apart. Even the mega-donors are not happy.

Trump’s biggest donors consider abandoning new political arm
The Mercers are increasingly frustrated with the Trump aides taking over the outside political group.

Tensions between President Donald Trump’s senior political aides and a pair of his most important donors are threatening to upend plans for an outside political group expected to play a key role in advancing his agenda.

Now, just days after Trump’s inauguration, the donors expected to provide much of the funding for the group -- the hedge fund billionaire Robert Mercer and his daughter, Rebekah Mercer -- are considering abandoning the effort and launching an independent effort of their own, a half-dozen sources with knowledge of the situation told POLITICO.

.

Everything falling apart, eh? I see a Politico article about one of Trump's donors who doesn't want to go along with Trump's plan now that he's elected and wants to do her own thing. From your link:

The Mercers are known for their desire to exert significant control over their political investments, something that has proven challenging, thus far, as Trump’s outside political group has taken shape.

Good to see Trump isn't even bowing to his donors, and isn't a bought man - deciding instead to push what he believes his agenda should be.

And "everything" is falling apart.

Hyperbole much?

Very well said Jem, FWIW, im caught in the middle on this one, Trump said he can offer a carrot or the stick, hoping it leans more towards the Carrot, but all in all im impressed by the actions taken so far today.

At this point Trump has the potential to be great, or a colossal fucking disaster, time will tell.

Time for Trust Busting

Not that anyone asked but I want to see smaller govt not crippling taxes. Libertarian at heart like Tsing

But, I also agree with AAA our press is the Pravda for the cronies and the left.

We have a problem with bankers owning everything including the leaders of both parties since the repeal of glass steagall and the removal of our industrial base to other countries.

We have An IRS so brash it targets conservatives and does not suffer the consequences.

We have public unions which destroy financial futures of states and cities and towns. And they elect and finance politicians who further their goals.

Its all the same issue.

Concentration of power and money in the hands of the few with the consent of the purchased Politicians.

The answer is Trust Busting plus Govt busting.

We have to cause divestiture with a new Glass Steagall
We have to break away the press from conglomerates to make them a real the 4th estate again.

We need to get the money away from politicians without playing favorites so the Sup Ct accepts the rule

We need to shrink the IRS and govt.

Then we need to incentivise the states to break free of public unions.

Trump took their money with both hands

now he wants to keep the pie for himself and his close family

typical Trump , his donors should have known better.

Just curious: How do you think the smart money would bet on that one?

So far smart money has been long the market since he was voted in, Soros on the other hand lost a billion dollars shorting right when trump got elected, cause he allowed his partisanship to cloud his judgement, the market is always right when your a trader, admittedly i thought the market was going to crack when he got elected too, but i gave it a little time, and got on the right side of the trade.

Fine, but my question was whether he would be "great, or a colossal fucking disaster" (your words). I'm not convinced the market is necessarily voting on that issue one way or the other. My question about "smart money" was figurative. The question is, Which of the two do you think he's more likely to become? Serious question, and I'm not looking to argue or debate it. Just curious.

Great. Then I hope you aren't one of the many leftists who are always claiming obama did a great job because of the mkt. Or that the mkt does better under democrats. Because you aren't convinced that it's anything other than fertilizer, right?
