A liberal atheist group has got their knickers in a twist over a very simple tweet from Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

An atheist group is demanding that Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker remove his “disturbing” and “threatening” comments on social media platforms that simply read: “Philippians 4:13.”

The Bible verse reads: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

But the Freedom From Religion Foundation has accused the governor of using his social media accounts to “promote not just religion over non-religion, but one religion over another in a manner that makes many Wisconsin citizens uncomfortable,” the group wrote in a letter to the governor,...

I suppose they have no problem with the word homophobe, just so long as nobody points to the scientists who say that homophobia is just another mental disorder among homos.

‘Voter Fraud is a Myth’… Except That it Isn’t…

The left loves to pretend that voter fraud doesn’t exist. They scoff at conservative assertions to the contrary and lash out at those who support voter ID laws as bigots- crusaders for a modern day poll tax.

Voter fraud is not only entirely too easy in America, Democrats rely on it. They require illegals and multiple voters to swell their support. The prevailing leftist narrative, however, is that voter fraud is, essentially, a myth- a fear mongering tactic of the rightwing to justify supposedly racist policies such as voter ID laws.

On Monday, MSNBC’s Joe Reid claimed that one “literally” has a better chance of suffering alien abduction than voter fraud.

I’m not sure “literally” means what Reid believes it means…

Just one day later, however, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced that they were declining to prosecute an admitted perpetrator of voter fraud.

Obama’s DOJ, however, has refused to file charges on the woman who unashamedly admitted her undermining of the democratic process. Richardson was even offered a warm welcome from Al Sharpton who treated the fraudster as a returning hero of sorts.

Democrats point to a dearth of convictions for voter fraud as evidence that voter fraud doesn’t exist. However, that’s like pointing to low numbers of convictions of white supremacists in the Jim Crow South to claim that white-on-black crime didn’t occur; failure of authorities to properly prosecute those who break the law is an indictment of the abuses of power, not an affirmation that crimes don’t take place...

Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took a day off from his full-time bashing of the Koch Brothers to weigh in on a great national crisis, an issue of massive importance in the lives of all Americans.

You must be wondering, is it the $17 trillion and growing national debt? Did Reid express concern about the nation’s $100 trillion or so in unfunded liabilities? Or did he comment about the unanswered Benghazi terrorist attack, or that Lois Lerner admitted Obama is using the IRS to target private citizens because of their political beliefs?

No, it isn’t any of these real issues. Reid, who recently left one high profile TV show host publicly wondering about his mental stability, is selectively outraged by the name of an NFL team, the Washington Redskins. That’s right. After more than a half century of the team having the name “Redskins,” Reid woke up one day recently and now believes the name is somehow racist....
 
At NPR’s food blog “The Salt” on Tuesday, Eliza Barclay channeled the fat-shamers (with no quote from Michelle Obama) who want the Girl Scouts to stop selling addictive cookies. They don't make the world a better place.

Barclay pushed how “a few brave voices argue it's no longer all that delightful to see little girls peddling packaged cookies, or to buy them in the name of supporting the community. (And no, this is not an April Fools' joke.)” It’s a public health menace...

Speaking to the “Morning Joe” panel, Deutsch asserted that regarding “Bridgegate” he couldn’t “remember anything more egregious, interestingly enough that a politician has done.” Furthermore, Deutsch argued that the Chris Christie scandal was much worse than any of the sex scandals involving President Bill Clinton because that “didn’t affect me.”
