Conservative Math: 8 million mothers or 4351 mothers, what's the difference?

In this lovely propaganda thread by delusional Cons, there is a bold declaration

8 Million Mothers from 150 Countries Sign Declaration:

https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...n-the-era-of-radical-feminism-is-over.318792/

But if you actually look at the number of signatures here

http://action.womenworldplatform.com/en/act/declaration-mothers

It's 4.351 signatures

Let's blame the radical feminists for the blatant lying and cooking up of numbers. Let's take a lesson from these 'homemakers' about history and facts.

Oh and the lying doesn't stop there

"“Last year at the United Nations Council on the Status of Women, the big push by feminists from Europe, Canada, and the United States was to declare motherhood a “burden,” defining it as “unpaid work” that needs to be recognized, reduced, and redistributed.”"

Nowhere in the UN link did it say motherhood is a burden, Cons can't breathe without lying every second sentence.

Do you find anything on there that mentions “8 million mothers?”

"It’s about reviving the sense of community and spirit of sisterhood that once thrived among the women of America. It is about coming together to celebrate motherhood and support and encourage each other as we stand united for truth, family, faith, freedom, and the constitution which protects our divine rights as mothers."

"Spirit of sisterhood"? You mean gossiping behind some women just because they refuse to fit in the little circle of scheming, backstabbing s*** and then make their lives a living hell??!!! And what "truth, family, faith, freedom"? You mean lies, broken homes, shallow facade and iron-fist smothering and emasculating dictatorship? What a joke, that website. LOL

You want to be "Pro-God and "Pro-Home"? Shut up and do like the Duggars. Duggars never started a website, or a march or an organization or declaration or whatever, and yet they created a family, a BIG happy loving family, following God's teaching in their own ACTION.

Still doing my due-diligence on this group. This will take a couple of weeks. There are some connections with this organization I need to check out before fully endorsing and promoting them.

Foster Friess, a very politically active Conservative Evangelical Christian, is offering a match of up to $50,000 to help their fundraising campaign. In addition, Sarah Palin is apparently going to be one of their speakers.

Although I have made fun of Sarah Palin, The Evangelical Christians, and Conservatives in the past, we need a counter-force to the anti-American and culture-breaking efforts from the entity that has taken over the Left.

I prefer to support dull, but honest and well intentioned groups over smart, manipulative, and hateful groups.

I hope Foster Friess has done his homework on the founders of this group and that this group has measures in place to protect against their mission from being hijacked by outside forces, like what happened to the Democratic party by a hostle entity and some of the Leftist groups in the Seventies and Eighties by FBI operatives.

Should this, or any other pro-family, pro-American group pass muster, we should give them as much support as we can. We should pass the word to others about them, help them raise money, and provide our skillsets to enhance their own.

Making the effort to support these groups will give us a chance keep those forces that have taken over the Democratic party from fully taking over the United States, our culture, and our freedom.

The cultural breaking methids employed by some elements of the left include attacking family values, patriotism, and christianity.

These bad actors also look to create divisions among the American people. They pit young versus old, white versus black, rich versus poor, management versus worker, police versus the public, and so on.

The methods some members of the Democratic party and some of the media, such as certain news networks, sitcoms, and Hollywood use are as follows:

Polls - They use fake polls to try to create a public perception that what they are touting is actually supported by the population at large, even when it is not. This can also be called “bandwagoning”.

Fallacy of Composition - Certain members of the Left will point out the worst example of a member of a group and say the whole group is like that one person. For example: “Christians are hypocrites”. Certainly some are, just as certainly most are not hypocrites.

Ad Hominem Attacks - When some members of the left start losing an argument, they will attack the person instead. We actually see this alot on both sides in our own Elitetrader political forum.

Another common method used to create dissension is to get people to feel entitled to something and to tell them the other group is keeping them from it. Examples include Obamacare and Union workers being told their boss is screwing them.

Political Correctness - This was a device sucessfully used to stifle communication between people over the undue fear of offending someone.

This partial list of methods used by those that appear to hate the American people is deseminated through our media in the form of jokes in sitcoms, in our movies and in certain “news” outlets.

It is imperative to be knowlegeable of the techniques our opponents regularly employ and learn how to counter their methods. We have honesty and a positive message versus the negative, anti-American agenda of a few bad apples on the Left.

This is such a nonsense. Like blowing up the numbers the idea of "anti" gets blown up. Objection is 'anti-American'..

Even in areas like social assistance. It is never just someone who needs help for a period until they can return to work if possible, always spending on drugs and fraud. It is never hey, this is working 95% as it should.

Someone without the support of their family or church who loses a low wage job is indeed in trouble, expecially if they are a single mom taking care of a kid.

There is already help available from churches (whether you are a member or not) and other groups for these people. Some employers will bend over backwards to help someone in this type of situation.

My point is, taxpayer money (in the form of money) needs to stop going directly to the ones needing public assistance. Even giving the money to a private landlord can be gamed. If there is a way to game the system, it will be gamed.

From what I see on myfico.com forums, just about anybody who has a job can get a credit card. This credit card can be used for short term funding should they lose their job until they can get another one. Should it become an extended period of time because of the economy, unemployment compensation would kick in and they would be able to maintain their current living situation.

I work with the poor here in Colombia a lot. In ways this is a model for conservative ideals. No social welfare, no safety net at all besides churches and some charity, NGO stuff that comes and goes with funding.

The is almost no begging, no please give signs, no cups. People who need money will get some candies and sell them for a few small coins each. There is an exchange of value, it is 'work' and in many ways admirable.

However.. churches bring predators, they are rife with abusers. Private charities or NGOs are ok, important to mostly staff them with women however. Only last week I had to deal with a bleached blonde 40s American guy who was pushing some evangelical franchise in my neighborhood. 14% of salary collected, Colombian preachers reporting to a Texas HQ.. a pure business like many US churches.

Then there are the public hospitals. Only a strong person goes there (not preachers I'm told) and talks to the elderly many who lost their pension through no fault, just unlucky. I do what I can, I'm no saint but I promise you.. you don't want what I've seen even in the last few months in your head.

Even in a close to perfect conservative system like Colombia.. there are huge downsides. So before saying xyz requires radical overhaul, I'd suggest understanding how well something works first is all, as the fix may create different suffering.
