Companies Engage In Orgy Of Virtue Signaling

Our system sucks - but because of things like lack of tort reform, high drug costs, etc. Your system sucks too. The difference is I'm not claiming ours is awesome, while you are.

I pay for my system. What really irks me is that I have to pay for everyone else's, too.

You think our system sucks based on nothing really. I base my opinion on the American system based on what you and other Americans say about your system, and how many uninsured people or people going bankrupt occurs in your system. I didn't say our system was "awesome", but it's adequate and serves me well. I don't get that impression from you. And we are paying everyone's expenses on a shared basis, through tax. It's just cheaper.

Cheaper, and poorer quality.

I am fine with our system because of the quality. Does it suck for the overall American consumer? Yes. Is it worse than Canada? No. Would I prefer Canada's no.

You do, and that's great. But you like to throw stones at the US. I'd say get your own house in order, then come talk.

Poorer quality ? Not at all. Again, Canadians live longer then Americans. That is an indisputable fact. It's illogical to say we have poorer quality medical care yet we live longer. Sure, some injuries involve extra wait time, but in the US some simply are financially ruined or get no care. I see no evidence that the procedures themselves or practitioners are lower quality. In fact, Canadians are heavily recruited in this and other fields.

Many Americans would prefer Canada's if they knew the true reality. They just would rather pay more and pretend they get better care.

Canadians having a longer life expectancy can be driven by any number of reasons. What evidence do you have linking this to medical care?

It's like I'm debating with a mentally disabled person.

Disabled vets can't even hold a cup of coffee, less brew a coffee. And they don't want to work past 5pm. Can't beat a cheap, hardworking immigrant worker. Ignoring of course the fact that a barista job is below the acceptable for most American vets. After all each single one is suffering from one or multiple psychological syndromes. Like a US football team playing the ALL BLACKS. seriously, your culture needs a reboot and reset, it's not the fucking immigrants or drugs or Muslims. It's home made 1st world problems that is choking you people to death.

From Seeking Alpha this morning:

"Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX) announced plans to hire 10,000 refugees, while Airbnb (Private:AIRB) said it would provide them with free housing and anyone not allowed in the U.S. Google (GOOG, GOOGL) has created a $4M crisis fund, UBER will establish a $3M defense fund and LYFT said it would donate $1M to the ACLU."

I find it remarkable that these companies are so damned concerned about muslim refugees and immigrants. At the same tine, they couldn't care less about our own people. How about Starbucks hire 10,000 disabled vets? Even 100 would be a start. I suppose having a disable vet doesn't fit their corporate image as much as some woman in a hijab.

Maybe Airbnb could house homeless americans, since we are constantly being told what a serious problem it is. Like maybe vets who are dying waiting to get into to see their VA doctor?

Uber is establishing a $3M defense fund? Isn't that encroaching on Soros' and CAIR's turf? Anyway, there are loads of dirtbag lawyers who will take these cases for free. They will bankrupt an ordinary American family needing legal assistance, but potential terrorists get a reduced rate. Just like they couldn't volunteer enough time to help terrorists at Gitmo.

Maybe we rejected the traditional cab industry a bit too soon. WTF does any of this have to do with Uber, which is a german company? You'd think they at least would understand the issue, but I guess virtue signaling to millennials is more important.

Right. Disabled vets can't hold a cup of coffee. Your posts get more and more hyperbolic as the day wears on.

Where is your Healthcare better than the one in Japan, Germany, and Singapore or Hong Kong to just name a few? Are you kidding? Have you ever been sick in Canada and undergone medical treatment there or abroad, other than of course Russia? Geez.

This is the argument libturds love to make, so some guy in bali live to be 119 while eating udon noodles, guess that means we should all move to bali for their healthcare, lol.

Hard to understand this question, as the grammar is all fucked up. But I think you're asking me if I believe the healthcare is better in the US than in Japan, Germany, and Singapore or Hong Kong to name a few. And the answer is that I do not believe it is, no. That's pretty much why I said the healthcare system in the US sucks. The difference is that the reasons I believe it sucks are not likely to align with the reasons you do.

Are you kidding? Have you ever been sick in Canada and undergone medical treatment there or abroad, other than of course Russia? Geez.

I have undergone medical procedures outside of the US, and Russia, yes.
