Cold Fusion part deux, short every oil, gas & utility on the planet??

Quote from The RainMaker:

anyway !

exactly, life is random, things happen, some fail and then succeed, a small percentage are born successful, most fail all their life

humans usually only talk of those who fail and then succeed, because most humans are losers and by repeating such stories they strengthen the belief in themselves that they too will one day become successful, at least if only they work hard enough, working hard only increases your chances of success, but does not guarantee it and wears your body and mind regardless of whether in the end you succeed or not

from a human perspective there's a probability associated with everything ... the probability of any significant innovation given the human mental capabilities is almost zero ... thus the western world will suffer not only from zero growth in the coming decades but will actually degrade as the cost of resources and thus maintenance continue to increase ... on the other hand other countries will continue to reverse engineer western military technology and recreate it and sell it to eachother at one thousandth of what it cost countries like US to engineer them

all this none sense surrounding bullshit like cold fusion is a direct result of western societies desperately searching for a way out of their inevitable doom, they too know it's all false hope, but then it's just humans, like always, as they gain awareness that there is no hope from an inevitable unwanted end, they become delusional and lose their grip on reality

Laws of Prediction
  1. When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right; when he states that something is impossible, he is probably wrong.
  2. The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
  3. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
  4. For every expert there is an equal and opposite expert.

New paper released on heat production during preliminary tests on the
Rossi “Ni-H” reactor by Dr. Giuseppe Levi, Jan 31, 2011 based on measurements done during two short tests on December 16 2010 [Test 1] and January 14 2011.

I don't have a background in this field, but it seems like the last paper from that link might imply that he saw no extra rays during that part of the test. If that is what the author of the last paper at that link is implying, then what I said earlier about needing to see extra rays or whatever created by the experiment still holds true.

Every cold fusion attempt that failed to show additional particles/rays when the test was recreated added skepticism to the field. It seems that the initial goal of so many of these is to show that energy was created without showing that particles/rays were created. For cold fusion to be accepted, the researchers need to first show that items were clearly created during the reaction. Then, the scientific community may be inclined to believe any energy created was due to the reaction.

oil >100, the news must be below everybody's radar.

unless this thread is moved out of Chat, the World might never know about this new "technology"

EDIT: Dang, Joe beat me to it.

Quote from tmarket:

Big mistake. It has one of the most number of discussions over on Zerohedge. Apparently they are not as picky as to the news worthiness. The implication if true is obviously earth shattering to the energy market. The loss is yours.

Looks like it wasn't a big mistake after all.

ROFLMAO.
