The Conservative Fertility Advantage

President Trump did better in counties with higher birth rates, and the difference is fairly large, with the most pro-Biden counties having total fertility rates almost 25% lower than the most pro-Trump counties. If anything, this effect is understated, since the most pro-Trump counties were small, rural counties that usually have even higher birth rates and are excluded from this analysis. Indeed, Yi Fuxian at the University of Wisconsin showed that the relationship between voting and fertility is even more pronounced when we look at fertility rates and state voting trends

Some states have separate minimum ages for males and females, with or without parental consent. Massachusetts has the lowest minimum marriage ages with parental consent of 12 for girls and 14 for boys.

You also need to look at it in context of the total population of the state and the prevailing laws in the state. Over recent years, rational legislators have worked to increase marriage ages in states to no longer be young as 12. There are numerous Republican state representatives either opposing marriage age increases or actively working to reduce the marriage age. Note that most child marriages involve an underage female and a male over the age of 21.
