It's funny how when you find a whitehouse staffs fathers brothers cousins nephews former roommate say he once heard them say Trump did something wrong, it's a totally legit source that is 100% proof it happened exactly that way.
Except nowhere in the video does he say at all that anyone at CNN said it's fake news, guy was opining just like anyone else. And when did CNN became the gate keepers of the Russia story, Wapo broke the Flynn story and NYT broke the Comey one. CNN just pushes the big stories for their ratings - just like every other tabloid network.

Correction: CNN is helping to create a hot story for ratings - to the point where they have become part of the story. One of the primary taboos in journalism. Not that the CNN hacks are journalists, but it applies to those aspire to professional ethics.
No, Obama and or his underlings who felt that they were serving Hillary and unmasked Flynn and then lower the classification level so that a pantload of others would see it to leak are the ones who got Flynn fired.
The whole Flynn story is curious. He was a career intelligence officer and had already been fired from a high position by Obama because the politically weaponized branches of the intell community didn't like him. Getting the National Security director job had to be sweet revenge for him. Why would he make the rookie mistakes he made that got him canned, and possibly prosecuted? I'm not sure who disappointed me more, him or Patreus.
Flynn is in a tough spot but he is not without defenses. The government probably violated a couple laws by investigating him without a warrant. The government may be able to show that they legally got probable cause from the incidental collection as part of the fisa warrant. Except when they know that he is then a target for criminal prosecution they have to get a regular warrant from a regular Article 3 court. Did the government do that?
The other thing- not to be underestimated- is that flynn will play hardball by raising a defense that will lead to the disclosure of things that the government does not want disclosed. Some of it he can do legally as part of his right to put on a defense and some of it could just suddenly start happening through leaks if the government does not back off.
In the end, they get him to take a plea deal on the failure to register as an agent for turkey.
The leaking mill-also known as the FBI- is also floating the assertion that they can get him on perjury for allegely lying to the FBI as part of his "interview." I suppose there will be some hand to hand combat on that. Most likely the fbi recorded his interview/s. You are probably thinking- "well, duh, of course. they do that when they interview everyone formally." But note that Comey testified that when they formally interviewed Hillary for hours that it was not recorded. Why was that do you suppose? Never frigging mind. We know.
