C'mon Canada

When I see things like this, it makes me really glad that I live in the US. The 1st Amendment produces some unsavory results at times, but freedom matters more than feelings. I certainly don't want someone else deciding what is or isn't hate speech and what I can or can't say.
There are restrictions in the U.S. It's called decorum.

Try saying anything to a Judge on the bench. To your boss if you have one. Try talking loudly in a theater. In a grocery store. In a library. In a church. In a hotel lobby. In front of a business. Etc. Etc. Etc.

TV is restricted. Movies are restricted.

Free speech doesn't mean willy-nilly, say whatever the fuck, whenever the fuck, and wherever the fuck.

Source?

Wow! You have clearly demonstrated that you don't understand the 1st amendment at all.

Let me educate you. The First Amendment applies to the government only. You're welcome.

https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/first_amendment
The First Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition. It forbids Congress from both promoting one religion over others and also restricting an individual’s religious practices. It guarantees freedom of expression by prohibiting Congress from restricting the press or the rights of individuals to speak freely. It also guarantees the right of citizens to assemble peaceably and to petition their government.

Please elaborate.
You really are special, you know that? I bet your fellow cons here are proud of how well you represent them.

The 1A isn't all inclusive:
1. You can't use illegal speech to incite violence or threaten someone.
2. You can't disrupt a courtroom.
3. You can't endanger someone else's life by yelling "fire" in a crowd.
4. Private businesses can throw you out if they don't like what you say.
5. Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences. You can be fired for saying something offensive.

All that being said, our freedom of speech is pretty much unparalleled. I couldn't imagine living in a country like Canada where you could be arrested for using the wrong pronouns...

Father arrested for discussing child’s gender transition in defiance of court order
A Canadian man was arrested this week after violating a court order that banned him from speaking publicly about his son’s gender transition. The man — whose identity is reportedly under a publication ban by a British Columbia Court of Appeals to protect his child — was found in contempt of court and arrested Tuesday for calling the teen his daughter and publicly referring to him with the pronouns “she” and “her,” according to The Post Millennial.

Which one of my posts are you referring to?

I never argued that 1A is all inclusive.
Nor did I argue that 1A is paralleled in another country.

I wasn't arguing with you. I was agreeing with you and expounding on your point that there are some restrictions to the 1A.
