CME Fees Increasing Again in February

CME fees suck but they have monster volume in the futures that i trade and tight spreads.

I mean compared to say european equity futures, like FTSE futures and DAX futures where exchange fees are much lower. DAX futures are 2 points wide a lot of the time.

Still these constant price increases from CME are pure greed..
The higher level of DAX index means 2 points is about the same granularity as 0.5 point on ES. And combined with the higher multiplier means lower cost as % of notional (but difficult to trade in small account).

The NQ is a better like for like comparison with the DAX.
Bid ask spread is much tighter in the NQ.
The big DAX used to be cool with a 0.5 point min tick, but Eurex recently ruined it when they increased the min tick to a one full point, but the market makers seem ignore that and have made it even worse and keep it at a two points wide most of the time.
