In addition 7 Black police officers lost their lives in the line of duty last year. ------crickets------
Parents can be isolated without locking down the healthy.
Additionally there is evidence the asymptomatic rarely spread.
So if you are asymptomatic and you practice social distancing... you may not even be threat to your parents if you meet them outdoors.
If you can't do that... well then shut down with respect to your parents.
This shutdown after about 3 weeks is one of the most sinister or stupid things western govts have done since the end of Hitler.
There is no data to support the lockdown of the low risk / healthy.
And now the data shows... we are getting the virus anyway. So it did no good at all once there were hospital beds. (and it has done massive harm.)

It's my approximation of how long it should have taken govts, at most, to get the data to see that outside of a few clusters, the hospitals had an over capacity.
Also, from my conversations with doctors and other medical people... some were happy with a few week shutdown because it gave their hospitals time to put procedures in place and locate the PPE.
I can also tell you after about 3 weeks some doctors began to notice the hospitals were in trouble in that they were so empty. They began to be concerned about the health of their patients, who were not getting procedures and checkups.
So..... that it where I get 3 weeks.

There should never have been a lockdown in the first place. Trump and Pence asked for 15 days to stop the spread and then added some time to that. They did not shut the economy down. As a whole, we can follow the instructions that Trump and Pence laid out. We did not need a lockdown. Sinister? You Betcha. ---- Dems/Leftists wanted the economy to tank to make Trump and Pence look bad. It's that simple. That's why they drag it out.
