So you postulate a thesis; that if people go out en masse during memorial day, etc.., we'd see a spike in cases, and now that the thesis has proven correct, you'll have none of it because the numbers are cooked? Do you ever stand by any of your statements or just flip flop based on your feelings?

This is what needs to happen if we want to put a full end to this idiocy. Cases need to rise and this needs to spread and spread as quickly as possible. I am hopeful that states continue to reopen and I mean right now. This is the time of year to have us get closer to herd immunity.

It's not a spike worth mentioning. This is what's worth mentioning.
Over 50 thousand of the deaths have been in nursing homes. Add in the tens of thousands who were very old and sickly. Still more with multiple preexisting conditions. What's left, maybe 20/30K. That's not even a bad season of the flu.
All of it bullshit cooked up in an election year, nothing more.
