I suggest we all chip in $25. That's $25K for ten thousand members for GG [except for Longshort, Rocks for brains and Jesse, who, after you count the 6875 OTHER handles that the bitches go by, would owe a little more.]

Just want to echo Breakout. This is a very viable solution. And one that your's truly is looking into as well. It may not seem appealing first hand. The pursuit of prestige can be deceiving, especially in this profession. Not trying to sell you on this, but you seem to possess enthusiasm that would be unfortunate to see discouraged. Things have changed in that industry, and it may hold some good alternatives with experience. You would have plenty of time to yourself for markets studies, just keep a low profile on the road. And you might get some time away and develop a new perspective. I have some recent familiarity in this area, so PM if you would like more details. remember this is also a numbers game, if you can go this route and make the numbers work, it sure beats minimum wage.

And just for added thought, their are a few business icons that gone this route as a means to pursue their dreams. Forgot who they are, but if you did a little research you might be surprised to find out who in the business papers has been a "transportation specialist."

I didn't succeed in my PhD. That was my biggest failure in life so far - it took a while until I found out what went wrong. And now it's my answer for the standard question in job interviews "what was the biggest failure in your life". :cool:
Most people try to show off in job interviews - I don't. If I show off I get the job that's made for the guy I pretend to be. If I'm honest I might get the job that is perfect for me. Of course those job interviewers pretend about their company, too, but that's another story.

GG, if you job interviewer doesn't honor your trading experience then it's the wrong job.

I totally agree! GG should NOT LIE on his resume or job experience. That' s just plain wrong! Do you know WHY?

It's bad enough to be unemployed(GG), but it's WORST to be UNEMPLOYABLE!!! If a company finds that you lied then it's OVER! Especially in this economy. That black mark will CARRY with you for the longest time. Maybe in the 90s when the economy was booming no one care. But now there are tons of qualified candidates for each positions. Why would they take a person who lied on their resume and maybe of questionable character?

Character is something I would not trade for a measly min wage job. Just tell the truth. If they don't like it then so be it. Someone will understand and then you get a honest job the HONEST WAY.
And work for a while and save $.

Aphie, honesty is the best policy in the long run here. He's only 25. You don't want to ruin him for life or a few years.
