Just as I don't care why the market moves, only that it moves and that I follow the price action to my benefit, I also don't care why placebo effect or acupuncture or homeopathy work, I only care if they work. Placebo effect has been scientifically proven again and again and again, therefore we know it's effective more often than not, much like lower highs and higher lows...
Quote from mabenn:
Today, 25 trades, expectancy of .42, SQN for today is 2.08. These results are tradeable but not a big statistical edge. Not bad for my first day on CL though. I really like this market, it moves me.
Then be sure not to overlook the magic of crystals, pyramids and magnets. There are people who swear by them, too.Quote from NoDoji:

Who sez I was leaving? By the way, all markets need their pimp daddies. As I'm told, market is the biggest whore since it's job is to screw as much traders as possible.Quote from EON Kid:
Good luck pimp daddy, its been nice riding with ya.
I might start trading both so see ya on the other side![]()
Ya just might call it a beginner's luck, but I haven't had a single losing month since I made the switch to CL last October. However, I hit a snag this month with a flat-as-a-pancake performance thus far. I don't know how much I can handle all this churning. So back to the drawing board as it were.Quote from Gabfly1:
So then I gather it is more a question of reliability for you, since CL is still far more volatile than ES. Provided, of course, that there is acceptable volatility in the market you consider more reliable for your purposes. How does the reliability of your setups for ES compare to that of CL?
Quote from mabenn:
What would be considered the day session for CL? from what time to what time?
Quote from schizo:
All times are EST.
The pit session begins at 9:30 AM and ends at 2:30 PM. However it trades 24 hours on the Globex (minus the daily maintenance schedule between 4:15 - 5:00 PM).
Be that as it may, you should note that some flurry of activities start to pick up following the release of economic numbers at 8:30 AM.
While you may see some moves, it's usually damn slow from 5:00 PM until the European markets open at 3:00 AM. Americans are biased towards Asians. Damn yankees!

Hey, mrbochin23
Sounds and "looks" like your 99.999% there.
You obviously have a GREAT system.... What, or Why don't you trust?
How much "discretion" is involved? I've found in my trading discretion was the hardest indicator to adjust. I quit, (and I think you will too), trying to "out smart" one of the fastest CPUs (available to the public) in the WORLD!!
You GOT IT, TRADE IT!
