schizo have you heard of the eurex flipper? (see attached) I'm gonna start calling you the crude flipper :p
Thanks for the article. Yes, I've heard of Paul Rotter and his envious success and I'll be most honored to be compared to the dude. I'll check it out after the close.

Alright folks, to continue with the exercise from yesterday, here's the chart of today's PA. The yellow and blue boxes indicate the sell and buy areas, respectively. Please give your input as to why those places were chosen and, moreover, are they good or bad in your opinion.

Yes. They are all in price zones where I would trade long/short based on the way I trade. I sim traded short right where your 2nd yellow box is and shook myself out for hardly any profit. Why??? I don't know. It was a fantastic short setup and price would be expected to test previous support (where I could've covered half) and in fact because a downtrend was established intraday at that point, we'd expect price to make a lower low!

I traded my pet stocks live this morning and only had 2 CL sim trades. Tomorrow I'm ONLY trading CL in sim, nothing else to distract me. We'll see how that goes.

Thanks, Sal, for taking the time to do this.

Oops, forgot to include the numbers. Also note that I left out trendlines and support/resistance on purpose but you're more than welcome to include them in your explanation.

Im assuming they were buy/sell indicators cause bp called the batphone. Or you could use chinese candlestick method were your yellow boxes were blowout tops and bottoms. I use that to determine when to close the position, lot of times I wait for the retest which is probably dumb.
