i didn't put stock CLi only trade CL crude oil future. i guess the Colgate print is some news reminder which automatically pops up. btw, i hit wrong side when average down, so it ended up a $160 loss for that trade, which is first ever losing trade since trading CL, but i immediately entered again after i realized i exit that trade by accident, and got back $270 in next trade
the second wrong hit happened when i closed a short position and got a long position in a quick dive, but after a few average down, i got a nice profitable exit.

That screen shot made me laugh because that's how I started trading oil in the first place. Early on, I only traded stocks and in the old ET chat room, I called a stock trade on Colgate-Palmolive. I said, "Short CL @ $xx.xx" and my friend who's a futures trader said, "NoD's trading crude oil!!!", like I was a total nut case or something.
Well, that made me curious and I brought up a DOM for CL the oil contract and was rather intrigued by it. Eventually I was sim trading it, but it scared me to death with those crazy moves out of nowhere (I didn't know anything about the inventory report at the time). Once you hang around CL for a while, though, it grows on you and after many months in sim with it, and talking to the Redux traders about what to be careful of, I finally decided it was my main squeeze
