Right now I am too nervous to hold on the trade for long time, just get out too soon, most of the trades are BE.

Without getting into secret or proprietary specifics :p, could you describe the gist of your system? Also, with your handle, coming from an IT background and being nervous to hold trades in sim, have you considered automating your system?

Hi NE, I sim traded CL for 5-6 months. It will build your confidence in holding the trades longer. I still exit a lot b/e, but only if they've gone at least 10-15 ticks my way. Nice job today!

I am also IT, there are one or two other CL redux posters that are IT. I am also new to CL, trading QM and NQ. welcome.

I'm might close out remaining long QMs tonight and leave the CLX0 puts on for tomorrow but i'm "scared" (can you really be scared when your talking -1200 delta?). I tried basing my only move today for Oct based on Sept's chart. Is that retarded? it must be because it cost me $650 The trend line for the oct contract is all the way up above 78. Welcome NE and other new person please don't listen to anything I say if you want to make money:D

Where the heck is SK?? Do broken TL's mean anything? Does any of this crap mean anything? Why the F&%# was the ovx up today even though I'm glad it was. Hope you all do well tomorrow I gotta hustle 3 old farts out of a $50 nassau tomorrow

The current move looks more like a rehash of May and June. Be that as it may, here's my take on TLs.

Great thread - Great Charts - I've just started lurkin' here - Coming back to trading after a long break (life was too complicated - and I was smart enough to know I couldn't balance it all). My plan is to sim till I can get my head on straight, doing some live to cover overhead.
