You remind me of Trump in a very real way, suffering from some form of mental illness that compels you to inflict your ideas on others to try to prop up your sense of worth. You might think you are winning but the signs are you that are losing in things that truly matter in life.
Hopefully your beloved Canadian healthcare system can treat your mental illness without having to ship you to a medical facility in the U.S.

Certainly the signs are there and it's gotten much worse the last 3 years. I'm not sure what the point of any of this is; the vast majority of Canadians love their country and chose to live in it's cities and surrounding burbs and towns. Most would never consider North Carolina for quality of life issues. If anything, Toronto is on the upswing economically with tremendous recent growth in IT. Toronto remains one of the favorite immigration choices on the planet; so much so we have to try to control the numbers our systems can't handle the growth.
The fact he continually touts his local economy yet felt the need to commute to Toronto to make a living for years ( leaving his family in doing so ) is very telling about his value system and the weakness in his arguments about the local economies.
He is unable to handle the push back from anyone when he gets arrogant and dismissive on this site.

You are another on here with mental health issues. Admitted frequent headaches at work and an unhealthy obsession with guns. Keep trotting out the same bs it won't help you with your issues. What kind of guy spends a significant amount of his time at shooting ranges because of his unhealthy fear of strangers ?
One of the most important quality of life measures is the people. I recommend you visit Canada and spend some time meeting Canadians. Most of them are friendly, helpful, and good natured. Although you might find a few "Snobby French" in the big eastern cities such as Montreal, they are definately the minority, in my perception. Canadians tend to drive much friendlier than Americans and usually the worse they'll do is make fun of us when it comes to our lack of basic understanding of the metric system or our politics. Frankly, we deserve to be made fun of in those areas. Canadian women are friendly and do not look at a man with suspicion who is interested in meeting them like so many American women. Too many American women are so uptight, that "Continued evenings" tend to become a therapy session rather than a way for each other to simply enjoy each other's company.
To RRY16: Yep, it's true. Lived there too. 6 Months in Montreal. Visited BC quite a few times as well. A few visits to Edmonton and Calgary. You really should get out of the house more often.
