Guns are just a little piece of the freedom puzzle. Read The Art of War.. the author points out that having a military is expensive, not having a military is suicide, using your military is very expensive.. so the thing to do is to have a military and just let everybody know you are not weak.

Here, I'll draw the analogy for you, it's better to have a gun and not use it unless you have to... If the knowledge that you have a gun is keeping the authorities from stepping all over the rest of your freedoms as spelled out in the Constitution, then it's an important part...

Personally I want my second amendment back [forget politically correct], I want my fourth amendment back [forget the war on drugs, if it was working drugs would be more expensive], those are just a couple of examples... the income tax is completely bogus too...
