Thats bullshit.

Handguns are virtually banned in Canada, yet the predominance of homicides in Toronto are performed with illegal handguns.

Should we also ban knives because murderers stab people to death? Or bodies of water over 12 inches deep, to stop "accidental" drownings?

Besides the idiocy of your post, the Constitution says what it does, and until you get 3/4ths of States to change it, the 2nd Amendment stands.

The Right to Keep and Bear Arms was enshrined to protect personal safety and thwart against Despotic Government. Tragic causalities who died at the end of a barrel would have died at the end of a barrel ANYWAY, had firearms been illegal. How do you suppose the 300 TONS of Cocaine enters the US every year, if its "BANNED"?!?!?
