Sorry. I didn't realize that you are capable of bashing Sanders more quickly than I can.
Well done. I don't know why these folks assume some sort of "lefty" affiliation whenever some one posts some sensible objection to Trump's unethical or illegal behavior. It makes no sense to do that, because people of a wide range of political persuasion will be voting against Trump in the Nov. Election. This will happen regardless of the opposition candidate. As a matter of inescapable fact, there are plenty of prominent Republicans that believe Trump is a dangerous demagogue behaving like a mob boss, and for the sake of our democratic republic and the rule of law should be removed from office. These folks may well vote for the Democrat candidate, some for the first time in their lives.
The lawless Trump, who is simultaneously a dangerous, lawless demagogue and ridiculous, self-serving, charismatic TV Buffoon, will invigorate his supporters with a steady stream of fear mongering and innuendo charged rhetoric: open borders , late term abortion, radical socialist agenda, lock her up, invading caravans, raise taxes, pallets of cash to Iran, etc.
Trump hides behind a Nixon era DOJ opinion. In light of current developments, that long-ago opinion is appearing more and more absurd. It cannot be lost on Trump that if he loses the next election, he could go to to jail. He must be desperate to win in the Fall, and this will make him all the more dangerous, all the more willing to take chances. And all the more likely to bully and intimidate those around him to keep them silent.
Trump's simplified, repetitive cadences stir the basest instincts in his supporters, keeps them close to the fold and unifies them in their common fear of outsiders, those coming for their guns, and the radical socialist agenda of imagined sinister forces against them. That same rhetoric, however, equally unifies an opposition drawn from the entire political spectrum -- their unifying theme: a passionate belief that in a democracy the Sanctity of the Rule of Law must be held inviolate. And so Trump must go.
After we get through with Sanders, both you and Tony will be begging for Trump. It is all in the history, soon to be re-revealed, especially to Millennials.
LOL....who the hell is "Bernard"??? I know there have been too many democrat candidates to keep track of but wtf? Help me narrow this down based on policies, is Bernard for or against AOC's Global Railway System?

Are we finally going to get a railroad bridge across the North Atlantic? Maybe Bernard will push it through during his Congressional "honeymoon" period. Alternatively, why not engage young Tesla to design an underwater tube large enough for luxury high speed rail and sink it from Halifax to Southampton. Oh hell, just go all the way. Hook it directly to the London Tube and the passengers can disembark in front of the Park Lane. Now what could be more convenient than that! That seems every bit as practical as building a retirement village on the moon, or whatever that other Tesla project was involving rockets..
