They don't post volume on the spot FX. You need EBS platform and Interbank - or also Hotspot FX I think also showed internal volume on 5 depths or something (don't remember anymore).

This flu was a little tougher than I thought - and I always get the sore throat lingering - but will probably be good for Christmas ... will at least kick back a little with some traditional christmas brew to give the tonsils a good rinse.

Last days have been paper-thin and it's not much to do ... just watch now and then. I have made some changes for next year's trading too, I am especially intrigued by what information I can get out of Globex FIX. Need to try and mine for that analytical edge in some useful patterns out there.

I do, but any unexpected geo-political news and we can easily make 1.36 in a low liquidity environment

No guessing here...the MPC minutes were very dovish. They came out at 09:30 UTC/London time (4:30 New York time) and then Cable tanked.

Should of sold 05s again but the last spike had me spooked. Maybe I've just made too much this week selling 90s to 05s and buying 50 somethings and vise versa or maybe the price hanging around 90 all afternoon scared me off. Anyhow I think I'll go to bed flat and see what the European open has to bring.

anyone know what the spike in euro etc..is all about?
I'm not complaining, I was long a small position in cable which I got rid of just now. yeah shoot and ask questions later...
 
Well I got sucked in to watching The Godfather on TV so I'm up but I missed the spike up. Sold with an average price of 1.34325. I'm assuming that this is low volume antics by someone who is not normally big enough to push the markets around. If it's news driven and I've missed it please let me know.
