Well, I had some nice profits with roughly 40 ticks (on the "long position"). :)
Remember, the messy election uncertainties are bad, bad, bad for USD and US standing around the world. The overly religious population of the US has at least given their popular vote, compared to the secular EU (70% go to church on sundays in the US, while more people go to mosques than to churches in the UK).

It comes down to how simplistic people see news - the broad markets have very simplistic views, not compicated or over-analyzing. They go by hunches and popular talk.

I'm up around 93% on my spot demo account for the US+asian session. Not too bad.

I don't agree with you about news/reports etc... I don't think it makes a big difference for scalping but beyond that (except long term investing) news/reports/predictions put unnecessary bias into one's head. Well at least for me it does. Biggest moves occur when people expect them the least.
 
I did about 12 pionts (on longs as well).

@2:30am CBS is saying we definitely will not know until tomorrow ("possibly a day or more"). I really want to put a long position in and go to bed but I've been burned on that before.. but man, I am tempted.. will wake up early and consider then, I guess.

I'm not sure yet. I'll stay around another 45-60mins and see the action. I have a 10 pts stop. I'm split 50/50 :)
 
market spike up @ 7:30 or so! man wish i had stayed long from last night instead of selling.. tempted to get in long again now.. anyonen else awake yet?
