Chinook's EUR/USD (E/$)Mumblings

Quote from trade-ya1:

Was that the IB effect? lol

IB might have a big variety of traders - but remember they're truly global and they do count. They are the biggest contributor to the CME futures with respect to #s of transactions. Since it's a zero-sum game, you want to "get" as many opponents as possible sweating in the baking oven. :D

I'm just around 60% on spot demo now for the day.

Remember, those are delayed quotes.
Better go for http://www.dailyfx.com/FinanceChart.html
or similar from www.refcofx.com . At least those are real-time, and they're pretty close to the CME EuroFX right now.

Don't let that happy hour get to you.
I'm going to hit my Jägermeister now ... ahhh, refreshing. I once did 1 liter Southern Comfort in a night, but that cured my throat soreness for "good". :D
Other than that, I have a affinity for double B-52s and body-tequila shots in spanish-speaking places in europe.

No actually these are real-time.

... and right you are. I remember they were delayed earlier, when registration was not required, or am I completely off my cliff now ?

Anyways, use the chart link to dailyfx as a simple fast-chart.

yes, i just found the dailyfx one! thanks. too bad i can't do any trading though ;o) what a tease

Do like me, open a demo with FXCM or Refco FX. Then use the super-duper-excellent Thomson news to supplement you information. It's the best I've found out there. Sure, Reuters, Bloomberg are more in-depth ... but it's the fast up-to-date chatter and rumours that you need for confirming your thoughts that you get with the fast updates on Thomson news.
Consider buying a more extensive service on www.ifrmarkets.com . Anyone else willing to vouch for them as best-in-the-industry for FX scalping ? They even cover unusual currency pairs in european session (on demo) and always on www.ifrmarkets.com .

They've been real time before the required registration-- at least for 3-4 months.

If Bush wins Ohio now, I'm not trading short €s for a considerable time. :(

Hmmm .. I don't like the FL news .. gotta tune into more of CNNI.
