Yup, just like Bloomberg editor Tom Keene is saying now the jobs number on Friday would look to be bad, because of the 100k double month layoffs by Challenger reporting.

I heard it differently - as in Bush needs FL, because Kerry got Pennsylvania, but there are still a lot of doubt - and we will see a long drawn election process chock full of lawyer food. It was predicted by polls before the election, but one would hope it would sway a significant portion of voters. Still, they seem to be very staunch and indicate a very divided US where hatred between party lines will still continue.
Amazing how states fall into similar voting patterns as in 2000; it's got to be a Bush-thing which makes him so divisive.

No, he needs to take Ohio. Without Ohio, he needs to get several small states that bush won last time which is a longshot (or he could take Florida which doesn't look likely).
