Wow, glad we 'made friends' :-). Actually, I was a prop. trader there not really a strict FX guy although I traded through Claudia, et. al. all the time. Simon Lack was my direct boss. What is John Tirone up to?
 
I'm working for the man, but strictly prop fx, so in a sense I'm working for myself, but have all the added leverage of a fund behind me with all the info and mkt talk that I need to keep me busy.
 
Trading a small martingale ALWAYS busts you out in the end... it's simply a matter of when. Scalping 5pips until it trades 200pips against you and calling it a position trade is nonsense. You can't polish a turd.

I am not flaming -- simply an assessment of your methodology based upon what I've read in your journal.

krups, I didn't work with Goggins. I was sort of an anomoly working on my own within the European Interest Rate Management Group run by Simon. I couldn't believe what happened with Goggins! Now I understand why he was always so much more profitable than I was. Did you know a guy named Nigel Fields? He was a cash machine. What ever became of him?
