LOL Neal is WAY more qualified than me. Anyway, I really like this thread so I hope we keep it going. Ther are a lot smart people here so hopefully we can all enlighten each other.

Forex -unlike stocks is not a BS market. You can't fake GDP - at least for no more than a few quarters ;) so fundies really come in.

I publish a weekly fundie review of the majors every Sunday night on www.dailyfx.com www.refconews.com and www.fxstreet.com that gives a good overview. So I welcome everyone to download and read it. That's what its for :). Tonigt's piece will be up by 1 AM EST.
 
The character of Coinz was not ET material and from I can understand, NOT Oanda or Moneytec material either, but I have not cared to confirm that. He is not in the league of the people on this thread. Lets finish with Coinz, now and move on..

Besides, if the Jester wanted to come back and behave himself, without trying to redefine what ET is all about, I would not mind and greet him with open arms. I have nothing against the writer of the "Coinz's character" personally...

But this is just my opinion and I am a guest here. ET in their wisdom were the ones who banned him, and not at my request ONLY (and I think we know why 2dogs was here and eventually banned).

P.S. You see Folks, Sulong has made a promise to him/herself to follow Electric around and be the ElectricCop...lol. I can guarantee this post is being complained by him/her to Baron...The quest is to get Electric Banned as payback....This is all so unnecessary.

Many posters on this thread will continue to struggle (fail?) in their trading, until/unless they see the truth of the markets.

If you believe in the noise theory, then in no way will you be able to successfully trade for a few pips. (scalp)

There is no noise in the markets

All events, derived from pre scheduled news/ reports releases, can be seen in the price action leading up to release time.

If you cannot predefine your entry, your exits will always be emotionally triggered.

If you don't understand the importance of statistical significance and emotional muscularity, you will be at a severe disadvantage of ever succeeding.

The truth is there for each of us to discover, we need to only look for it.

There is no truth associated with the markets?

Noise to me means untradable, if it can be traded, it is not noise.

create emotional responses from traders, looking at price action prior to those set times, you can readily see where stops are likely placed, and determine how much of a price move needs to take place to trigger a cascade effect.

Are you saying that "statistical significance" and "emotional muscularity" are not important to each of our success in the markets?
If so, you are implying that each time you enter the market, you are "right" and if the market go's against you, the market is "wrong". ( at least thats the way I understood your response)

And continual hits from the markets leave no mark?

Perhaps your interested enough to also let me know why you disagree with my "postulates"?

Nice contribution ES, follow this statement with action.

If memory serves me, Chinook does not use FA as a primary method, although some of you would try and change that fact.

My comments about price action triggering stops, and in turn causing a cascade effect, are in fact on topic. ( Even if it is an emotional event.)

Yes, you're right I don't use fundamental analysis in my trading since my time-frame is very short but it is on a longer time-frame than scalping. Also, I have to admit that I get bored looking at all these numbers and try to make long-term predictions.
