Lack of minimal health care in the US is due to the unwillingness of Americans to embrace universal health care of some type. To blame an attempt to compromise is absurd, but I've come to expect this kind of thinking on this forum. If ObamaCare is inefficient or unsuitable ( I have no idea if it is ), it's because US political parties prevent good systems from being created. Canada got this done many decades ago, it's a shame the US is so slow getting it done.

I just wish the US would start to understand the true cause and effect of public policy on things like health care, education, and ( lack of ) gun control. Special interest groups controlled by "for profit" companies have too much control on public policy.
 
Duncan, who should not have ever even been granted a visa, received $500k of free care. Considering he never paid a dime into our health care system or paid any taxes, I'd say no one needs to apologize for the care he received. He managed to infect at least two nurse, so add their care into the cost of his stay.
 
And tell me how great medical care in canada is when canadians stop coming to the US to get operations, MRI's etc.

And maybe since your system is so great, how about helping us out by picking up all the inner city welfare cases in Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, and oh yeah, how about covering a few million illegal aliens from latin america. Sorry but a lot of them are kind of sick and need expensive care. Actually that's why they came to the US. but hey are we a great country or what.

I saw that. I guess I was thinking a trained nurse who ostensibly desires to care for the public health. Wouldn't do something so fucking stupid and potentially threatening to others safety. Just because a government agency known for it's incompetence told her it was OK.

Notice how Liberals defend the precautionary principle when it comes to global warming? A nebulas situation, that may or may not pose a threat?

But with a real threat, like Ebola, Liberals abandon the precautionary principle. Closing borders and banning air travel to infected areas is "stupid", and "unnecessary". Exercising caution in the face of a real disease that has killed thousands, is now illogical.

Isn't that interesting?

Canada has its own permanent underclass. Canadian healthcare also covers a few million aliens, from everywhere, but since Immigration Canada (seems to) legalize everyone, they're not considered illegals.
