CCW holder arrested for leaving his gun locked up safely at home

When I took my class we were instructed to show our CCW with the DL when being pulled over and if asked inform the officer where the weapon was located..... I'm not sure if that has changed here since the data upgrade.... need to research it I guess.

Only been pulled over a couple of times since getting mine, never a ticket and never a problem.

Precaution for what? The man was pulled over for no reason -- no probable cause. He should sue and do everything he can to get the cop fired. When someone legally owns a gun or legally carries a gun that means they're obeying guns laws, not breaking them.

The fact that cops get away with this shit is why we're becoming a police state. That cop should be fired and spend a year in jail.

Considering that both the officer's supervisors and the organization he represented were so quick to offer an apology, I think we can pretty much gather it was as reported.

PS That group does seeem a bit ususual ,as most county officers stay out of city limits, generally speaking. Also by the way,, that man stopped had out of state tags= a red/ORANGE flag, which tells/screams to many policeman ''stop them ,NON RESIDENT out of state tags''

Same OLD pattern ;;;;;;;even MOST state game & fish depts charge NON RESIDENTS BIG buck$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

That CCW man is too sensitive; some law officers have been shot stopping cars, so look @ both sides of trade.And the game warden NEVER has needed a search warrant.....
