CBO: Real Unemployment Rate 15%

Quote from Ricter:

Nothing is wrong with the truth.
Nice to know you agree
Everyone knows we're in a hole.
My mistake, I didn't think YOU knew it
Some of us are trying to climb out of it. Others, like yourself, are still at the bottom wringing their hands.
Au contraire, I'm spending plenty on tools and raw materials.

Quote from Lucrum:

You don't think the spending will have a trickle down effect?

Of course spending is good, and it's good that you have extra capital to spend. On your plane? Regardless, of course when we spend it sort of trickles 'out' not necessarily up or down. We want people to have disposable income to spend. Only makes sense.

"Us" as in you guys up in Canada? Probably not.
Won't the spending act as an economic "stimulus" here in the states though? Albeit on a very small scale.
I thought you were a big spending = stimulus kinda guy.

Even if I were not a US citizen and didn't have Yankee pride, two thirds of my yearly bonus, which is nearly 50% of my annual compensation, is dependent on sales made by our US divisions, so I'm quite interested in the health of the US economy and people.

And yes, of course I think your spending will have a stimulative effect. Now it appears that you think so, too--that's good. That's enough in fact.
