CBO: Real Unemployment Rate 15%

Quote from Tsing Tao:
Hi, MG. Welcome to the P+R forum.

This data is not new, as you have so eloquently pointed out. The reason this has to be pointed out (as always) in this forum is that you've got folks like Ricter who drink the kool-aid and believe headline numbers. A few months back I had to explain the U6 to him and AK-47 (who is another one claiming the headline number is the truth).

So while I agree that pspr posts a lot of stuff that I go "wtf" to, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt on this one and you have to understand the context.

But don't worry, no Fed (or other Central Bank) member was harmed in the posting of this material, so you can relax.
Thank you, sire... I understand the context, I think.
Quote from pspr:
You don't think the markets wait with bated breath for new government data every month? Your argument is nonsense.
Huh? What is this in response to?

Quote from Martinghoul:

It's simple... Would you like me to explain?
Sure, let's get your long winded explanation out of the way. It seems you want to be argumentative anyway.

Quote from Trader666:

And MG is trolling this thread, not "eloquently pointing out" anything. Save your bullshit for someone else.

Dude, what the hell is the matter with you lately? Wife leave you or something? Ever hear of the word sarcasm?

I'm in agreement with you, and you friggen attack me. Holy Christ.

Sorry about that, I'm multitasking and misread you. My apologies.

Quote from Trader666:
Yes, why do you care so much?
Simple... Because one of my pet peeves is people who presume to issue opinions and start discussions without going through the minimal amount of work to understand the subject, if only a little bit. Especially, in this digital age, when the effort required is trivial.

But never mind me... I regret setting foot in the jungle that is the P&R forum and I'll make myself scarce.

How do you "know" how much PSPR knows or does not know about the subject? Aren't you the one presuming? Not to mention the cultural nuances of P&R...

From this:
Quote from pspr:
This is new data from a newly released report from the CBO.
Moreover, if PSPR actually bothered to a little tiny bit of checking, he/she would have hopefully realized how embarassing it is to provide a link to an article with a silly title like "New CBO Report Decimates 'Obamanomics': Real Unemployment Hits 15%".

Anyways, as I said, I am happy to leave you guys in this here wonderful P&R section to have your fun w/o me. Have a good w/e!

Did you go to the link in the article to read the report itself? Apparently not.
