I agree and imo that is a good thing.
I think the old labels had outlived their usefulness. They are more tribal designations than reflections of principles.
Voters who do not identify with a corporatist, globalist, interventionist and internationalist agenda are out of place in the republican party. Much of the traditional republican party, the party of the Boehners, McCains and Ryans, has little regard for the Constitution or protection of First and Second Amendment rights.
On the democrat side, voters who question open borders, trade deals that offshore our factories and technology, PC craziness, traditional morality and BLM/endless welfare expansions are not welcome. Sanders did not evengo there, tapping instead into the democrat disgust with the party's adoption of republican corporatism and trade policies.
Seems like an awful lot of votes out there, waiting for someone to ask for them.
