Can't access IB anyone else having probs?

Threads keep coming about IB instability once in a while. Everyone who uses IB should not rely on IB. You need to get a second broker. IB is not good for intensive trading. The pinkouts and disconnections may cause you tremendous amount of money.

Have to disagree with you there. For all of IB's faults (and there are some), my most intensive automated executions get executed at IB.

I'm curious to hear who you think is more stable?

I agree with you . I think a lot of people who complain don't have much experience with other on line brokers. You will see a lot of complaints especially during volatile fast markets. I have said it before and probably will say it many more times , all the on line brokers have issues from time to time. It is all part of the on line trading experience !!
If someone has issues with IB they should get another broker as a backup .
