Its actually a pretty good comparison O Leary to trump, like Trump, if elected Oleary would be replacing a grossly unqualified bartender who has no business being prime minister, Obama was also grossly unqualified, and we elected someone who has actually run a bussiness, and created thousands of jobs as his replacement, so it would be a welcome change.
With that said, Oleary has no shot, I would stake someone hundred to 1 odds, it wont happen.
Liberals in Canada will see defeating Oleary as their way to vote out Trump, I guarantee if Oleary ended up leading the PC party, every single liberal group in canada will be out with long knives trying to take him down as a proxy vote against Trump in the States, so while it would be nice handing the country off to a self made billionaire who knows how to generate wealth (a quality sorely lacking in Trudeau and Obama) Its not going to happen, and I would prefer he doesnt end up leading cause it just creates a headwind twice as strong for conservatives.
