Canada's Depression: Surging Crime, Soaring Suicides, Overwhelmed Food Banks

Exactly my point in posting this. The expected people missed the point, and those expected to get it, did.

Having worked in Canada for several years now, there are plenty positive things about the country. However all countries have their negatives.... some more, some less.

The way to make progress in a country is first admitting the negatives that are obvious to a vast majority of the population. Everyone I speak with complains about the healthcare system in Canada. My co-worker just waited 22 weeks for an MRI.

When an individual such as nine_ender can not admit the obvious truths, which are well documented in the media and Canadian government information, then you know they do not have an effective grasp on reality. Nor should any of their absurdly negative commentary about other countries or individuals be deemed to carry any weight or significance.

Honestly, I care as much about Canada's well being as I do about Mexico's. I just find it hilarious that many Canadians are obsessed with the goings on here instead of putting the energy to fixing or debating Canadian problems. Obsession is a killer.

Granted it's a small sample size of wingnuts...but the few leftist Canadian idiots that post on here sound remarkably similar to the hyper-sensitive, always offended college campus SJW's...I guarantee that Rear_Ender would have signed that amendment to kill free speech..After all, he's always foaming at the mouth to report "hate speech" to someone, anyone that would listen to his sorry ass...

No doubt. He and Freddie are big on that. Two old fag-hags who get riled up whenever someone's view is "politically incorrect".

You seem delusional. Your existence merely points out clear weaknesses in one Canadian banks hiring policies, because they deeply overpay for a glorified network engineer who can't find similar employment in the US. So you go on a ridiculous commute every week. If the US was truly a mecca of business these days, you wouldn't be here.

Myself and hundreds of Canadians I know have no problems getting effective medical care in Canada. I don't know why so many of your colleagues have such troubles, but I suspect that an American who seeks to find issues will find some if they dig deep enough. Would the majority of Americans want our medical system if they were fully aware of all aspects of the two systems ? Yes, not even a doubt on that one. Instead, you get your system, and assholes like you complaining about your copays etc and at the same time casting dispersions on Canada's system. You got the system you wanted, now pay for it. Seems to be a common American refrain, these days, you want your country and your "freedoms" but don't want to pay the true cost for what you get. And you'll allow your government to run up your countries debt while you block taxes and true prices and selfishly force the payment on future generations.

But selfishness is part of who you are, it's all over your posts. You don't hide it at all. Family obviously isn't important to you because you choose to live a lonely existence in a city you despise all week. Perhaps this is where the nasty disposition you have comes from.

Still delusional, ignoring the facts, and attacking others, eh?

Just waiting for nine_ender to show up and call everyone names who says anything negative about Canada... while at the same time calling the United States the worst place to live in fact-free commentary.

I couldn't care less what this crew thinks of Canada. If we want to read people complaining about the US and where it is headed, hell, you guys do a fine enough job of that yourselves.
Go ahead, point out ANY post where I say the US is the worst place to live on this site. Direct quote please, don't paraphrase some mythical idea you think I put up.

Here's the thing about you guys. When rational, on point comments are put up, you get nervous and defensive, and start with personal attacks. You can't stand the idea that the US isn't the be all and end all of places to live. And any objective studies confirm what I've said, the US rarely comes out on top these days in quality of life studies. Rather then deny your problems, address them, they are real. If you think Canada's main issue is quality of medical care, well, that idea is absurd coming from an American.

And please, and I'm quite serious about this, leave Canada. You attitude stinks about our country and it's not ethical for you to work here.
