Canada’s covid-19 second wave is a humbling moment after a summer of bragging

We are arguably doing better than the other countries listed in your post, because the first vaccination is a good leading indicator of the one to follow. The tortoise wins the race.

The United States has the supply right now but dealing with a growing vaccination hesitancy.

In contrast, Canada has the demand with very little vaccine hesitancy in comparison. Simply, we have more demand for the vaccine but not enough supply. It's the opposite in the United States...the supply is greater than the demand.

It's one of the reason why Canadians on the border have been given permission to cross the border to get vaccinated. The United States has the vaccines and needs to use it or throw it away before its not any good.

I think its a good gesture that both countries came to agreement on instead of throwing away vaccines.

A little Oklahoma trivia here for ya involving my girl Michelle.

The lib Canadians can not even stomach the thought of someone from Alberta, and then when the person is married to a conservative from Oklahoma, well, that pretty much flips the breaker switch for most of them. Of course the lefties pretty much hate any area or people who do real work for a living whether Canadian or American. That's why it is like night and day between ranch country in Oregon and Washington versus the yuppie side of the mountains.

Look, we all know you are uneducated and the only job you can get involves mostly manual labour. But this is the 21st century bozo those aren't the industries that truly move the needle on the national economy. This might be why the Alberta economy is struggling in recent years they got obsessed with yesterday's sectors and failed to modernize their approach.

Thanks for highlighting that though. Now we know what you consider to be "real" work, and who are "real" citizens. You certainly have a lot of hang ups and seem to be awfully bigoted about everything.

Buggers didn t even have to face a lot of cases, yet panicked, locked and harrassed citizens.
Prerry sure the canadian pro lockdown scumbags in this thread wouldn't even dare to face their fellow citizens outraged at the situation.
Miserable cowards waving the flag no matter what ( at least from the safery of their computer).

He doesn't understand how business and trade works. Apparently we paid for the vaccines with our hard earned money but got a "free ride" because the US manufactured them for their foreign partners. Basically the advantage the US has was a larger consumer base, a more desperate population ( by their own doing ), and more manufacturing capability. Big fuck the last point can be fixed Canada isn't short on expertise.

So now he's waxing on about "real" work like that's a key aspect of modern economies. Not only is he in love with the idea of his ancestors ( the "real" citizens ) he wants to roll back the economy to back then as well. At least Trump only wanted to roll back to the 1950s.

No..she has been in Canada at least since showing her face in Ottawa in January 2021 although I'm not sure why she was at parliament when she could have been back in her own province or stateside in Oklahoma.
  • She's been very low key (quiet) about her border crossing travel the past year.
She recently was caught "lying" (with a shitty grin on her face) when she accused Trudeau of only vaccinating 5% Canadians with the 1st dose of vaccines by the end of February.

Trudeau corrected her and stated > 20% of Canadians have received their 1st dose at the time of her comments although its possible she may have been talking about her province (riding) only but she continue with the lie and Trudeau continue correcting her. Actually, when she stated 5%...I think at the time of her comments...about 31% of Canadians had received their 1st dose.
  • Not sure why she was bitching about February...that had occurred months earlier. Trudeau should have reminded her that Canada had recently bypass the United States in 1st dose vaccination at the time of her comments. :D
Now its above 50%...about the same as in Oklahoma where her husband / step kids lives.

Now that restrictions are easing / removed...she'll probably return back to Oklahoma soon after some Parliament stuff. Oklahoma have some good state fairs the next 3 months. :D

Bitching about Canada's current vaccine roll out all sounds good until one looks at the facts. He's oblivious to them, kind of like Trump and some American posters were on here for months on end. Lying seems to be popular with this crew.

Huh?

Can’t blame her. Who in the hell wants to stay in Canada. Specially when you can live in a place where common sense dictates.

Only problem I can see with Canucks fleeing to the south, it lowers the IQ in both places.
Canadians aren’t dumb.
They are just docile and soft.
It’s these Canucks who are so quick to boast about Canada’s amazing response while cheering on the totalitarian government mob.
