Oh no, Canada is supposedly overrun by "phony Canadian lefties". American conspiracy theories and this "left vs right" bs has supposedly crossed the border from the US ? Well I guess if one MP and some jackasses in the US say it's so it must be

.
Meanwhile, Canada was recently rated #1 in quality of life by a third party organization. Say it isn't so our deranged little treefrog guy.
I'm a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army) and 4th generation military family...father, grandfather, great grandfather all served as officers.
- Anyone criticizing the Canada military or sexual assaults in the Canadian military in comparison to the United States military is a complete dumbass.
The United States Military has
more claims / convictions / arrests of sexual misconduct against its soldiers than the Canadian Military Forces
many times over. That percentage has been increasing each year since fiscal year 2012 although I do not have data before those years when I had served.
Both countries has their headline news related stories about such but the U.S. military has much more problems (difficulties) for a victim of sexual assault to report such and its much easier for the perpetrator to retaliate especially if its a higher ranking NCO or Officer against a lower ranking soldier.
As a parent of young teenage boys (both desiring to serve in the military too as Officers and one wanting to follow his mom footsteps to West Point)...
if they were teenage girls...I would be encouraging them to
not serve in the U.S. Military and instead serve in the Canadian Forces considering they have the option of serving in either the U.S. Military, Canadian Military or the French Armed Forces because they're citizens of all three countries.
Ranking for Women: Canada, United States and then France (more coverup in the French military about sexual assaults).
Yet, for political opportunities for women after the military...the United States is top of the list for such.
Here's the key aspects...most sexual assaults in the U.S. military go unreported in comparison to the Canadian military. Regardless, sexual assault is a huge problem in both the United States Military and Canadian Military.
In addition, women that served in the U.S. military are more likely to be
homeless than women that served in the Canadian military...I'm a strong believer that a veteran of either country should
never be homeless especially those that served in war time.
Further, more women per 1,000 are
discharged from the military after reporting a sexual assault in the U.S. military than the Canadian military.
United States Military Sexual Assaults (military sexual trauma / MST)
In 2018, 20,500 service members were
sexually assaulted or raped including 13,000 women and 7,500 men. The
rate of
sexual assault and
rape jumped by almost
40% from 2016 to 2018, and for women veterans, the
rate increased by over
50% to the highest level since 2006.
