Certainly Canadian military, RCMP, some governments, medical administration, and some police forces haven't done a good job controlling the bad apples in their organizations. They protect their own far too much and there are still old boys clubs out there. Canada and the US both have bad characters in all sorts of fields. It's just a fact though when it comes to social policies and bad actors the US has many more problems. Greed and the pursuit of money and power is more pronounced in the US, and government hasn't put enough of a priority on social programs and equity in their country. It was getting much worse under Trump.
I have a hard time believing this TreeFrogTrader character has a high school diploma or has attained a job that is anything more then manual labour or serving food. Not that there is anything wrong with that kind of work but for god's sake know your place and stop trying so hard to sound intelligent on the internet. Mixed in with the ever present negativity he's just a big loser imo.
I thought it was very strange / weird to see a woman (MP in Ottawa...Michelle Rempel Garner) use her stepdaughter current military service in the U.S. Armed Forces to imply the stepdaughter would be shocked about the sexual misconduct / cover up / silence in Canada when in fact its
MUCH WORST in the U.S. Armed Forces.
- A few years back, a friend and a Canadian Armed Forces Helicopter pilot mentioned that a women is 3x more likely to be sexually assaulted in the U.S. military than in Canada's military. If true...that's a scary statistic.
Michelle had a great talk until she mention her stepdaughter's current military service and how her stepdaughter would feel watching the sexual assault debate about the coverup in Canada's military ranks and why Trudeau wasn't aware.
- Guess what Michelle...its much worst in the United States military many times over.
Simply, her U.S. military veteran husband should sit down with his wife Michelle and explain the reality between the two countries military and sexual misconduct so that Michelle will not make (imply) that the U.S. Military handles sexual assault better than Canada considering she hung her stepdaughter out there
like a carrot for comparisons of the two military.
It's bad in both countries and every year...each country has some headline news story about a rape, arrest, cover-up, conviction or why the Commander in Chief wasn't in the know about it.
- Michelle Rempel Garner has good attentions but she should stay away from the comparisons of the two different Armed Forces until she knows the facts about the United States.
Yet, I'll go easy on Michelle considering she's still new to being a stepmom / spouse of the U.S. veteran and new to the U.S. Armed Forces while enjoying the life as a Canadian...
Another bonus, she has French blood in her. I think from her father side of the family.
As I stated...if I had
daughters and they had a choice between which military to join between United States, Canada
or France...I would encourage them to join Canadian Armed Forces.
