They are less reliable if coming off a major support/resistance level. I still take the trade though. I don't care. The problem with trading pullbacks to a moving average is that the retracement may be deeper than you'd think it should be, or sometimes it won't even touch the moving average. So you can end up missing out on a lot of opportunities.Quote from Flashboy:

Do you find the pullbacks less reliable if they are coming off of a resistance or support area??
I have one setup I look for which is a pullback to the 20 period EMA.. but I find the signal very unreliable when the market is pulling back after hitting a resistance area.. so in these instances I would skip the trade..
