Latest polls are now giving Ohio and MI to Mac, albeit barely (source RCP).

It is Obama that has serious electoral problems, not McCain. I do believe Obama may slaughter Mac in the popular vote, and still lose. Cal and NY will go heavily his way.

Obama will never win Texas no matter who he picks for a running mate. Texas is a very conservative state. Hell the democrats in Texas tend to be more conservative than republicans in California and the New England states.

The short answer is no. Leave it to the Dems to fuck up a sure thing. I continue to watch in stunned disbelief as this unfolds.
The current group of buffoons has this country about as fucked up as it's been in a long time. Just about anybody should be a shoe in. Repubs are running some tired old man promising more of the same. What do the Dems come up with? A F'N black guy with no experience named Barack Hussain Obama. Your fuckin' kidden' me, right? The alternative? Hillary f'n Clinton with all of her baggage.
A party this god damn stupid just doesn't deserve to win the election.
