The US DOES NOT FUND THE APS or any other science organization except for the NSF, as far as I know.

Like most science organizations this one is funded by it's members.

One more point about your imaginary global warming: if you could raise the temperature of the atlantic the whole sahel and north of africa would pay you money because that would mean needed rained for them. People there are fighting drought and desert advance. A higher temperature of the ocean would translate to rain and water. They spend billions on desalination, and global warming would be free water and crop for them.

The serious problem is that earth might cool. If you cannot comprehend which is worse, try being outside for one night in the summer or one night in winter, and you will see which one you will not tolerate.

Also notice how all those quotes say "climate change". That is like saying, the market will fluctuate tomorrow. They do not take a side on the direction of the climate change, so that both the guys who are afraid of an imaginary global warming would and the guys w ho are afraid of cooling would agree with them.
