With trading/investing...Time/experience in the market doesn't necessarily automatically equal profits and greatness and wisdom.
Trading to be profitable is a rather complex, dynamic endeavor.
Some people can do the same thing over and over again, basically, and continue to just hope and pray for a market miracle.
While others pick it up rather fruitfully at a much smaller fraction of their time.
Not trying to pick a fight with you, or any of the older/experienced hound dogs around -- but just sayin.

if we talk about beeing a daytrader (an active one, trading everyday) if u are not profitable quickly you just can't keep doing the same thing for a long period of time. You are gonna run out of money pretty quick.

How often are you long one and short the other at the same time?
At least twice per week. AMD is showing signs of sluggishness.
I have now added ROKU to my active trading but being careful since it cannot be shorted easily. It sucks that Roku is already within ~$15 of $50 ... to be off the active list. I hope it goes back down to $30~ ... at that price .... maybe can get 6 months active trading before it hits $50.
