New to this website. Only US stocks, try to be in/out same day, does not always work. Trade much larger numbers than what appears to be the norm here, so basis points matter in hitting daily bogey.

You system falls into which category, mean-reversion, breakout, momentum, trend-following?

I do like to trade b/o and go with the trend, but once the stock is extended i really try to short it and add when i have confirmation, specially pumps like DRYS, HMNY, VERI,.... i wouldnt short stocks like AAPL or AMZN unless the mkt is really tanking.

B/o, momo and trendtrades(to the upside) is pretty much the same, if i consider a stock is strong ill buy near vwap and add when i see momo for the breakout.

Daytrade ... usually with MU ... playing for 20-40 cents... the daily range can give that easily.
With AMD ... playing for 10-15 cents . Long and Short trades. Always Limit orders.
